Margaret Eva Bitz

It is with deep sadness that the family announce her passing on December 4, 2025. She was born on August 29, 1927, in Allan, SK. She will lovingly be remembered by her children; Donalda (John) Campbell and grandchildren Rhea, Trevor and Ashlyn; Jackie (Wally) Parker and grandchildren Scott and Lauren; Lorne (Laurie) Bitz and grandchildren Raeanne, Rebecca, Renee and Michael; Ron Bitz; Rob Bitz; Cheryl Rygh and grandchildren Emma and Greyson; along with nieces, nephew and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Edwin Bitz (1999); granddaughter Cara Gagnon (2020); father Frank Berger (1988) and mother Magdalena (Ziegler) Berger (1997); and sister Rose Boechler (1984).

Margaret and Ed married in October 1954, filling their home with children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren and love as the years passed. They farmed in Allan until 1991, when they retired and moved to Saskatoon to relax with more time to spend with their ever-growing family. She will be missed by all.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Phillip Neri Parish (1902 Munroe Ave South, Saskatoon, SK) on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. with Fr. Edward Gibney as Celebrant.

Rite of Committal will follow at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Cemetery in Allan, SK.
