

Margaret Hiebert (Rhodes) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Porteous Lodge in Saskatoon. Margaret was born at home on May 14, 1941 in Great Deer, Saskatchewan. She lived there for her first 16 years and then was married to Dave Hiebert on October 26, 1957. They were married for 29 years. Margaret started her family early and her life was spent surrounded by her children and grandchildren. A lot of years were spent moving around from place to place but for her last 17 years, she lived on Carlton Drive in Saskatoon. Her days were spent with her dog Princess, spending time having barbecues, going for coffee and playing horseshoes with her good friend Terry. Playing bingo was also an all time favourite. The kids and grandkids knew where to go looking when they couldn’t find grandma. Margaret is precedeased by her mother and father, Agatha and Abram Rhodes as well as her sister Sarah and brother John. Margaret is lovingly remembered by her eight children, Cheryl (Clark) Rysauy of Outlook, Ron (Sandra) Hiebert of Saskatoon, Allan (Bev) Hiebert of Martensville, Brian (Jolane) Hiebert of Saskatoon, Karen (George) Ewen, Loma (Bruce) Gibson of Vancouver, Dorothy (Dwayne) Molina of Vancouver, Dave (Julie) Hiebert of Allan, 23 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, one more grandchild and great grandchild to be born anyday, and her special friend Terry Scott. A Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be held on Monday July 26, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. from Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Centre (915 Acadia Dr.), officiated by Pastor Gerald Cressman. Interment will follow at Waldheim Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of David Grambo of Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Centre 955-1600
