It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Marguerite (Larter) Mertz on July 20, 2023. Marguerite was born October 26, 1935 in Tuberose, SK to parents Richard and Marjorie Larter. Marguerite was one of seven children.
Marguerite is survived by her children; Audie (Brenda), Penny (Nick), Jerry, Tracey (Mark). Many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by brother Herbert (Ponto) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Marguerite was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Marjorie Larter. Siblings; John, Charlie, Mary Maiden, Vera Farrell and Sylvia Larter.
There will be a come and go visitation from 1pm to 3pm Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Chapel (915-Acadia Drive, Saskatoon). Burial will take place at the Clearwater Lake Cemetery, north of Kyle, SK. on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 2pm.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Paul’s Hospital for their care and compassion. A special thanks to all of the nurses on 5B surgery who made Marguerite’s remaining months special.
