Mary Larocque

It is with sadness but deeply grateful hearts that the family of Mary Larocque (nee Brennan) announce her peaceful passing on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the age of 99. Mary is lovingly remembered by her children Bill (Bonnie), Eileen, Christine (Jeffrey) and Maryanne (Terence); seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Walter Larocque, and her eldest daughter Kathleen. Mary will be most remembered for her appreciation and gratitude, and for the joyful kindness and love she carried in her heart.

She had a special way with people and cared deeply about others. Mary's larger-than-life sense of humor, positive outlook and ‘stay strong’ lessons will remain with each of us. The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses, care workers, staff, volunteers and to Pastor Iris at Luther Care Home for their care and kindness throughout the last few years of Mary’s life. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Friday March 22, 2024 at St. Paul’s Co-Cathedral (720 Spadina Crescent East, Saskatoon). Arrangements entrusted to Derryl Hildebrandt.
