Marie passed away peacefully at St. Ann's Home after a long battle with Alzheimers. She is dearly loved and remembered by her children, Clifford, Brenda Medernach (Ron Hudey), Lavonne (Tim) Wiens, Marvin (Sheila), Ken (Gwen), Rosalyn, Elaine (Dana) Rempel, Arlene (Paul) Hodges, Gilbert (Sherri) and Duane (Connie); 17 grandchildren, Aleesha (Kyle) Molinski, Bridget (Greg), Brett and Kayla Kohle; Derek Medernach, Tanya (Phil) Amosah, and Jara (Trevor) Sawatsky; Nicholas, Curtis (Jill), and Jordan Wiens; Heidi (Eric) Fleming, Danielle (Nathan) Rudd, and Jaimie (Cameron) Griffiths; Calvin and Drayton Kohle; Logan and Brooklynn Kohle; 11 great grandchildren; her sister, Alma Doyle; sister-in-law, Dorothy Renneberg, and numerous stepfamily and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Otto; granddaughter Hayley Kohle; two great grandsons, Terell and Deon Amosah; her parents, Anton and Clara Renneberg and stepmother, Grace; her brothers, Bernard and Henry in infancy. Vigil for Marie will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 22nd and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 23rd. Both services will be held at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church (Melrose Ave and Willow Street). Following the reception, the Rite of Committal will take place at Woodlawn Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Ann's Senior Citizens Village in Marie's memory. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Ann’s for the love and care they provided to mom during her time there.
