It is with profound sadness the family of Mary Popoff announce her passing on April 20, 2015. Mary was born in Grand Forks, B.C. on November 9, 1924. She married John Popoff on September 29, 1939 in Wadena and together they raised three children Jack, Molly and Jeanette. Mary’s incredible life spanned 90 years. She was a fabulous cook, loved cards, friends and the healing waters of Manitou beach where they retired. Mary was predeceased by her husband John, parents, sister and a daughter Jeanette. She leaves to mourn son Jack (Eileen), daughter Molly (James), 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Mary’s last residence was Luther Care Home where she so enjoyed living, being treated with compassion, trust and respect. A Private Family Service will be held at a later date. Mary’s final resting place will be next to her husband John in Wadena SK. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Luther Care Home (1212 Osler St. Saskatoon SK S7N 0T9).
