Mavis (Paulson) Bzowy

Mavis Bzowy, at the age of 86, passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2022, with her family by her side. Mavis was a loving and caring mother whose compassion extended to grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends alike. She is survived by her three sons – Gerald (Shirley), Larry, and Tim (Teresa), her seven grandchildren – Jeremy (Suyu), Meagan (Lance), Eric, Morgan (Justin), Brandon, Mike, and Brett, her four great grandchildren – Isabell and Violet Wilken and Taylor and Roland Bzowy, and her many extended family members and friends across Canada.

Mavis was born in Whitefox, SK, on December 13, 1935 and moved to Wadena, SK with her family when she was a young girl. Mavis loved to go to dances as a young lady, they were always a good reason to show off a new dress. She worked with Sasktel, first in Wadena and later in Saskatoon, until retiring in 1989. Mavis loved to craft, paint, and garden, always growing the most beautiful flower garden.

Mavis will be missed by all who knew her – her family and friends, the ladies she bowled with, and her casino lunch group. She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers, and her husband.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Acadia-McKague's Funeral Chapel, 915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon, SK.

The internment will be held in Wadena, SK on Sunday June 12, 2022 at 12:00pm.

Mavis (Paulson) Bzowy, age 86, of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Mavis was born December 13, 1935 in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.

A celebration of Mavis' life for Mavis will be held Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Acadia McKague's Funeral Chapel, 915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan S7H 5N4.
