Jim was born in Rosetown, Saskatchewan in 1938. He was predeceased by his parents John and Jean McIntyre, his sister Noreen Gillanders, and his grandson Taras McIntyre.
He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory: his brother Robert McIntyre; the “love of his life” Sharon McIntyre after 64 years of marriage; his beloved children Sherri, Estelle, Kyle, Laureen, and Coreen; his grandchildren Lyndon, Brendan, McKenzie, Makstr, and Cadence; and numerous nieces and nephews.
As per Jim’s wishes there will be no funeral or memorial service.
The McIntyre family would like to thank all of his amazing and devoted doctors, nurses, and caregivers for their friendship and care over the years.
