Oscar spent a majority of his life on the farm. From a young age he was tending to the farm animals and crops with his dad, mom and siblings. This carried into his adulthood when he kept farming with his own sons Noel and Brian. At the age of 70 he came out of retirement and started raising cattle again with Noel for 20 years. Oscar enjoyed his yearly combine rides until the age of 98 years. Oscar was an avid hunter and fisherman. When he wasn’t busy at the farm, you could find him behind a fishing rod or in the bush tracking down the best buck in sight. He had a passion for the outdoors and nature. Oscar earned many awards for trophies displayed on his walls. He was a proud steward for the livestock and the land under his care.
