June 23.1932 – December 29, 2018
It is with great sorrow that the family announces Pamela’s passing. She put up a good fight but eventually Alzheimer’s swept her away from us. Pam was born in London, England and passed away at St. Ann’s Home, Saskatoon on December 29, 2018. Pam immigrated to Canada with her parents and brother Graham in 1948. She married Brian in Montreal in 1959 and they moved to Saskatoon in 1978. Pam was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved nothing more than making scrumptious meals for her family and friends. She enjoyed her garden, card games (especially bridge), her music and piano. She taught us the meaning of family. Pam is survived by her loving husband Brian; daughters Anne (Gordon), Susan (Alana), Sheila (Theran) and Janet (Terry); grandchildren, Meagan (Garnet), Samantha, Kyle (Patsy) and Abby; great-grandchildren, Ryder, Austin and Bryson; brother Graham; nieces Shirley and Debbie and nephew Tony. Pam is predeceased by her parents Mabel and Ted Foggo; her sister-in-law Fran Foggo; and most recently her grandson Dan Volk. The family would like to publicly give thanks to all the workers at St. Ann’s for their unfailing care, consideration and love during our difficult time at the home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church (535 – 8th St. E., Saskatoon) with Fr. Nestor Gregoire, OMI celebrating. Rite of Committal will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are in care of David Schurr – Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200 www.mourningglory.ca
