

Paul Douglas Ferguson, born 1944, originally from Burlington, Ontario, died on January 5th, 2014 at the Royal University Hospital after a long battle with a broken heart. To be met in the afterlife by his wife Margaret, who passed suddenly away in 2006. He is survived by his three sons, Robin, Dean, and Samuel; daughter, Brier; and eight grandchildren, James, Bryan, Lucas, Justin, Oskar, Richard, Michael, and Natasha. Paul was a knowledge seeker. He never stopped learning and could be
found on a typical day pouring through numerous books on any topic. He possessed an incredible memory and could burst into songs heard decades ago and only once before. He forged his own path and made his own trends. Upon moving to Saskatoon in 1995 Paul took up painting and sold numerous commissioned works to families around the city. As a member of CARFAC, Paul served as Chair of the the Visual Arts Placement Jury and helped the City of Saskatoon approve and unveil many of the beautiful works of public art which help to give our city character. Paul will be forever remembered as a loving father, devoted husband, and model citizen of the Saskatoon community. Memorial Service will be held at Knox United Church on Saturday, January 11th, 2014 at 2:00PM. Arrangements entrusted to Lisa Bos.
