We would like to express our very sincere condolences to Randy's immeadiate family members Peggy, Andrea and Kim. I was totally unaware that Randy had passed until just yesterday. I first met Randy when I started working at RUH in April 1998, and we had been friends ever since. We used to have the occasional coffee from time to time and catch up on each others activities which was always very much enjoyed over the years. Lately we would just have an occasional phone call and exchange news. I am certainly going to miss the occasional coffee meets and phone calls with him.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to you Peggy, Andrea, Kim and all your families. Also to Ross, Kathy, Herb and families. We were good friends for many years.  We had many good times together including trips, meals and our weekly coffee.  Randy was a great friend and will miss you always.

Randy was an amazing co-worker and mentor. Having worked with him in two different offices, I could count on him to answer questions and present information so I could understand and incorporate the principles in my own work. 

It was always good to run into him and catch up on news when he was out for coffee at the mall. He always wanted to know what was happening. I’m sad that I hadn’t seen him around. 

I still find drawings with his signature penmanship and know without looking that it was his work. 

My condolences to you, Peggy. Randy was so proud to be your husband. 

Andrea and Kimberley, your dad lit up when he talked about you two. 

I hope Randy’s suffering was brief and that he felt loved and comforted at the end. May his memory bless and bring you all joy as you grieve.

I loved listening to Daryl and Randy reminiscing about their summers on the farm. Even though there were six years between them, as adults they loved their conversations together and shared memories.  I could hear the smiles in their voices. You will be missed Randy. My heartfelt sympathy to Peggy, Andrea and Kim and families and to Kathy and Joe and family  and to Ross and Shirley. Also to Randy’s nephews on the Berggren/Blayone side, nieces and grandnieces and nephews. He was a lovely man and it comforts me to know that he and Daryl are busy talk, talk talking and that Philip and his Uncle Randy are talking cars, cars, cars. Maybe that’s silly and folks won’t be thinking about such human pleasures in Heaven, but I like to believe that God has that type of reunion planned for us.

Our condolences to you and your family. A dear friend and the many memories of about 65 years that we we have known him. The many trips we did together, times at Martens Lake  and the many weekends we spent together. You will be truly missed.
