Reg was born November 20, 1941 in Assiniboia, SK to Axel and Ragna Lindgren.
He is survived by two daughters Lanette and Chantelle and her husband Eldon; three grandsons Abu, Omar and Henry; and two sisters Ruth and Rowena.
Reg attended Progress Hill School in Congress, SK then moved to Saskatoon, SK at the age of 16 where he resided till his death. Reg always enjoyed cars. He was a Stock Car driver and was a success in car sales and established his own business as an auto broker. He enjoyed family functions, ethnic Norwegian food and country music---Johnny Cash was his favourite. Reg also had a talent for writing poetry.
He was predeceased by four brothers Ralph, Rollie, Ross and Roger and one sister Ruby. The family would like to thank the 6th floor nursing staff and doctors at City Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Acadia –McKague’s Funeral Centre,(915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon, SK).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Saskatoon Interval House.
