Richard is predeceased by: Rose/Urbain Desjarlais (mom & dad); Charles Desjarlais; Kenny Desjarlais, Ervin Desjarlais; Louis Desjarlais; Edward/Patricia Desjarlais; and Paul Desjarlais.
Richard was a journeyman house painter, a drywaller. He enjoyed being a DJ at the Red Lion Inn, he truly enjoyed music and people. He made friends wherever he went, with his infectious smile, and his outgoing personality. He was always dressed up, no matter where he was going; he even ironed his work shirt for painting and construction.
