Robert Moldenhauer

Bob found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved music, especially when he had a guitar in his hands and the opportunity to strum a few tunes. Bob was at his happiest sitting around a roaring fire - his “chariot of fire” - with good company, a cold drink, and a song or two ready to be sung.

A loyal fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Bob never missed a chance to cheer on his favourite teams. He enjoyed all sports - curling, golf, baseball, you name it, Bob followed it and probably had an opinion or a stat to share.

He was deeply loved and will be missed by many - his children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of friends. Bob had an innate way of showing people that they mattered, whether it was a casual greeting, a brief chat, or a meeting at the “office”. Family and friends meant everything to him, and that love was felt in every small gesture.

He leaves behind countless memories, a legacy of kindness and cheer, and stories that will be shared for years to come.

A private gathering will be held to honour Bob’s life. We encourage you to raise a glass, sing your favourite song, or watch a sports game in his honour.
