Beloved mother, baba, sister, aunt and friend, Rosemarie passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, April 25, 2023. She will be lovingly remember by her daughter Cindy Ternes, sister Darlene Demeria, brother Paul (Tatyana), grandchildren Cole (Sally), Celena, Chloe, Celeste, niece Jessica Demeria, nephews Jean-Paul (Charlene), Denny (Clemmie), her cousins and the many dear friends she made in her life. Also left behind are her two much-loved canine companions Johnny and Marie.. Rose was predeceased by her father Johnny (1983), mother Marie (2006), grandson Connor (2002) and nephew Jeremy (2002). Rose was born in Saskatoon on June 3, 1945 where she spent many of her early years after moving from Blaine Lake. At an early age she learned Ukrainian dancing, and skated in the Ice Capades. She lived for a school year in Montreal with her uncle Gordon’s family. Returning home, she later attended Marvel Beauty school. While much of her working life was in the hospitality industry in Saskatoon, it also took her to Whitehorse, Yukon as a dancehall girl. She was adventurous, with trips to the States and even one to Mexico, hanging onto the back of a motorcycle, her small rescued dog Jojo tucked inside her leather jacket. A welcoming, funny, sometimes stubborn, free spirit with a generous heart, she loved a good party and would often delight us with her famous perogies and cabbage rolls. Rose spent her later years living in Blaine Lake, happily entertaining any who would come by to visit. She appreciated everyone and everything that came into her life. We will miss her a lot. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an animal charity of your choice. Graveside Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2023 at Woodlawn Cemetery. Reception to follow. Arrangements entrusted to Travis Minor.
