

Roxy was born in Yorkton, SK on April 6, 1931. She was the daughter of Pauline and William Dumka. She was married to husband Peter Tymoruski (deceased). Roxy is survived by her sister Violet Betty Brant, her daughter Cindy Tymoruski and son Neil Tymoruski. Her grandchildren Zachery, Tyson, and Zennovia Belak, Joshua and Jasmine Tymoruski.
Roxy spent the childhood and teenage years in Rokeby, SK on the farm with her parents and sister. She met Peter while living on the farm and married him in July 1950. Peter and Roxy lived in Orcadia, SK and then moved to Yorkton.
In 1972, the family moved to Saskatoon where Roxy and Peter spent the rest of their lives. Roxy worked as a bookkeeper for her professional life and spent a long time at Market Tire in Saskatoon. More than that, Roxy was a big volunteer. If you ate at the Exhibition at the Ukrainian booth in the Jubilee building you can thank Roxy for organizing the booth for the All Saints Ukrainian Church where she volunteered for perogy and cabbage roll bees. Roxy also was involved in figure skating as a club test chair at the Yorkton Skating Club, Hub City SC, and Saskatoon SC. She was also an accountant for numerous competitions throughout the province. Roxy was active her whole life and lived the adventure throughout her life.
Prayers will be at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2024. Liturgy of the Word will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday January 8, 2024. Both services will be held at Acadia McKague's Funeral Chapel (915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon).
