Roy Milton Elliott passed away peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon at the age of 87 years. Roy is lovingly remembered by his wife, Pauline “Joey” Elliott; daughter, Lana Dacey and her children Michelle, Sarah and Carly Dacey; daughter, Judy Elliott and her daughter Shawna Sawatzky (Harlan Lapointe) and great granddaughter, Alexia McCabe; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Della Atkinson; father, Tom Elliott; as well as his sister, Fern (Harry) Sheade. Roy loved golfing and was a fan of big band jazz music. He worked for many years in Saskatoon in the automotive industry. The family would like to thank the nurses in observation and palliative care at St. Paul’s Hospital, as well as Dr. Saba Qayyum. At Roy’s request a private family graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
