Silvester William “Bill” Kopach passed away at Preston Extendicare on Sunday, March 12, 2023. Bill was born in Smeaton Hospital on May 19, 1940. Bill got his education at South Aldergrove School and High School in Smeaton. After grade 12 he started farming and continued until he retired in 2012. In 2016 Bill moved to Assisted Living at the Ilarion Residence in Saskatoon to be closer to his brother and family. Bill is survived by his brother John (Merle) and nephew Brian (Louise) and extended family. Predeceased by his parents Wasyl “Bill” and Dora Kopach. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made to a charity of choice. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday March 17, 2023 at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church (684 3rd Avenue East Prince Albert, SK). Rite of Committal to follow.
