Mrs. Stella Richardson

September 4, 1939 - August 25, 2012

It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Stella on Saturday from St. Paul's Hospital while surrounded by family. Stella is survived by her husband Richard and three sons, Wayne (Sherri) and their family Cody, Dakota, Jade. Jeff (Carol), daughters Sara and Jenna. Ryan (Susan) and Jocelyn as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Stella was predeceased by her parents William & Dora Boychuk of Cudworth, her brother John (Elizabeth) Boychuk and Ann (Martin) Kachur of Saskatoon. Stella was the youngest of seven children and is survived by Janet (Pierre) Fournier, Mike (Hilda) Boychuk, Ruth (Julius) Repchinski, Esther (Ron) Hnatiw. Stella was born on September 4, 1939 in the small town of Cudworth where she met Richard. There they began farming together and raising their family. Stella balanced the love for her family, operating tractors and combines while counseling. Stella began her spiritual calling in 1974 with involvement in the Catholic Church choirs, certification for Pastoral care, a lecturer, Eucharistic minister, Elijah House Ministries (USA), with a passion for lay presiding in correctional institutes. A caring and loving wife, mother and friend with ministries spanning the globe will be sadly and forever missed.

• A celebration of Stella's life will be held at Holy Spirit Church, 114 Kingsmere Place Saskatoon at 2:00 PM on Wednesday August 29, 2012.

• Thanks to the Doctor's and staff of 7th floor St. Paul's Hospital.

• Dr. Classen, Dr. Moodley and nursing staff at RUH Oncology center.

• In lieu of flowers, please make donations toward masses at Holy Spirit Church.
