I just found about a Tanice's death.  She was my best friend for a number of years when we were in Elgin School (primary school) in Weyburn. My heart goes out to you Shawn and Tanice's children.  

I remember the number of sleep overs and play dates we had at her house on Scott Cres and my house on 3rd Ave.  The 60's were a great time to be a kid and our neigbourhood was ful of kids.  Our sleepover and play dates ended when Tanice moved to Saskatoon. However, we have one more "sleepover".  When I was about 13 or 14, I spend a week with Tanice in Saskatoon. We had so much fun.  She was a good friend and although I didn't know her as a adult I can see from the posts that her traits as a child carried through to adult hood.

Almost 2yrs of passing of my best friend, Tanice you are missed always a lot. Every time I think of planning an evening or a fun outing you are in my thoughts.

I have been thinking about you a lot lately as it nears 2 years since your passing. I am sitting at my desk and every time a new person comes to the department I expect to see you. There are so many wonderful people that you would have met and your smile and welcoming presence is something they will never know. I have to stop myself and think, I am sure the gardens in heaven are beautiful with your green thumb and that you are probably planning potlucks and gatherings for all to enjoy. Miss you. Thinking of you always.

Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of your passing and I still have a hard time believing you are gone. I think of you often and reflect on my memories of you and our conversations. You were taken too soon from your earthly plans as you had so much more to do and much more love to share. Rest well my dear friend. I will continue to cherish the time we shared.

We were so sorry to hear of Tanice’s untimely passing. We worked together for years at Cambrian Engineering when we were young. She was a very bright, talented, hardworking and creative person. She became a very kindhearted, funny and caring friend. We crossed paths after that having weddings and children. My last memory if I us sitting in our backyard while our daughters played. Tanice was an anchor when the seas of life felt tough to navigate. She was a light in the dark, a spoonful of sugar to sweeten the day and an unassuming, humble friend whose presence made any of our gatherings so much more fun. I will miss her cute smile, her lovely voice which sounded like music and her deep love and proud anecdotes of Paige and Rachel, her deeply beloved daughters.  I cherished her friendship and knew that she was someone who anyone could turn to when they needed a spark. She helped me through some tough times and was just the loveliest, funniest and most beautiful friend. May you rest in peace sweet dear Tanice, we are grateful for all the happy memories. One of my last memories of Tanice was drinking a glass of wine with her at the ANAVETS building on 1st Avenue in Saskatoon.  We had attended the 100th Anniversary Celebration of Next-of-Kin Memorial Avenue in Woodlawn Cemetery and we gathered afterwards along with other attendees and war veterans. Tanice was so much fun. She talked to everyone at our table and brought them into the conversation. She said she always enjoyed new experiences and new worlds. I, personally , and all of us in the heritage community will miss her deeply. Rest in peace, dear Tanice. 

About 60 years ago I remember playing in her parents house. I can still hear her infectious laugh and see her smile. We had a lot of fun as kids. I know she will be greatly missed.

Tanice was a beloved neighbour at the lake, always welcomed you with a smile. Quiet yet warm and easy to chat with once you got to know her. Memories around the fire will never be forgotten. Gone too soon, future memories taken away. 

She will be missed, neighbour Dave, Anglin.

Tanice was a co-worker of mine. She would always say Hello when she would drop off letters and always had a smile. We had so many friendly chats. I will really miss her! My thoughts and prayers are with her her daughters and her family! 🙏 

Tanice worked down the hall from me.  I will truly miss her friendly morning  hellos.  Being that I work very close to the coffee station, I will especially miss her many friendly conversations that she had with co-workers and her new employee tours and introductions.  She will be dearly missed by so many, and am forever grateful we crossed paths.  My deep condolences  to her family and cherished friends.

I met Tanice when our mutual friend was moving and we were having a farewell wine night. It was such a treat to meet her and felt like I knew her for years. Saw Tanice at music events after that and it was always a genuine reunion, she was always so happy to see you. Such a loss for humanity to have even one less person like Tanice.

I remember Tanice hosting an after work get together, she was so inviting and made me feel at home.  Such a kind and bubbly person that would take the time to catch up when we would unexpectedly run into each other in Lloyd.  She was taken from this world too soon but will be forever remembered.  Watch over us all sweet angel ❤️

Tanice was so kind and friendly.  I will dearly miss hearing her voice throughout the day at work.  My prayers are going out to her family and friends.  

Heartfelt condolences to her daughters and family. I fondly remember Tanice as interesting and interested, creative, smart and welcoming. Tanice made all feel special! One time when Tanice and I were in our mid-20’s we were out on the town, and a group of us ended up at her parents basement. We played  crokinole till the wee hours of the morning! Thanks for the great memory and fun times. Ride the wings of eternity sweet Tanice ❤️ .

We live in the Nutana neighborhood and my little girl and I would occasionally chat with Tanice on our walks. We didn’t know her well, but she was always so kind and would patiently answer a five year olds questions about the flowers growing in her yard and tell us stories about Gus (we do hope he is ok, we love him very much). I was shocked to hear of her passing and am deeply sorry for your loss. 



As a member of the Saskatoon Heritage Society board, I was just getting to know Tanice and found her insightful and an all-around lovely person. 
I send all my sympathies to her family and all those who knew and loved her. 

As a fellow Board member of the Saskatoon Heritage Society  I, regretfully, only had the privilege of knowing, and working with, Tanice for a little over a year.
However, during that relatively brief period of time,  her enthusiasm and commitment for our shared cause shone brightly!
I will always remember  her as a bright, caring and talented woman, who, sadly, was taken from us far too soon..........


Tanice was an amazing person, so caring and welcoming. Always coming into work saying hello" to everyone, always up for a night out.She loved music and art. She will be missed by many family and friends.

Working with Tanice was one of the highlights of the day, she was always so happy and positive. Recently, when I returned from a maternity leave, she was so excited to introduce me to all the new staff that joined while I was away. I will miss her morning greetings every day, she was one of a kind.

I clearly remember Tanice's first day at work. Her smile was infectious and right then I knew she was a warm and welcoming soul. I will treasure our chats and visits while we shared moments in our life and our interests. She loved the arts and music and we had many common interests.
She greeted everyone with a warm hello and was excited when she would introduce me to a new employee in her department. 
I will truly miss you Tanice but I will never forget you.
My sincere sympathy to her family and friends. I am sure you will keep her spirit  and memories close to your hearts.

You could feel the love she had for her children, and she was always so excited when there was an upcoming visit.  

She was the friendliest person and was the "department greeter." Whenever someone new started she wanted to be the one to show them around and make sure they felt welcomed.  I will miss Tanice's kind heart and laughter.

I knew Tanice a long time ago when we were barely 20. She was funny loved a party and tried to teach me disco dancing. I was hopeless she was great. What a wonderful lady. You will be missed Tanice. 


I am deeply saddened to hear of this.  I worked with Tanice and she was an amazing, jolly and wonderful person.  Having spent numerous break times with her I grew so fond of her.  We would have some fun conversations!
