Terrence Terry David Young

Terry met the love of his life Donna, at the young age of 15 and married her on May 30, 1970. Donna was not only his best friend and soul mate but also the loving mother of their two children; daughter Tammy (Joel); son Trent (Terra). Terry and Donna are also the loving grandparents to Shayla, Michael (Kelsey), Alysha, Myranda, Mason; and great grandparents to Walker, Daxton, Sawyer, and Nolan (whom he didn't get a chance to meet).

Terry loved nothing more than spending time with Donna, whether it was going for a walk by the river, going out for dinner or going for a ride on their Harleys. When they were together he always had a smile on his face. They had many wonderful vacations together traveling to exotic destinations such as Hawaii, Bora Bora, numerous places in Mexico, as well as Vegas, and Florida.

Next to Donna came the kids and grandkids. He was so proud of each and every one of them! Once in awhile Terry would even share Donna with the kids and take them along on the destination vacations spending time at Disney World and Puerto Rico. They also spent many years out at the lake with the kids, boating, fishing and just chilling. Once traveling to the lake became too much, Terry installed a pool in the backyard and that became the new hangout. Terry received his journeymen welding certificate in 1973, and continued his welding career until he started selling heavy equipment in 1986. During this time he went to university where he received his degree in BAC. He began working at SIIT in 2007 until his retirement in 2017. His favorite pastimes were spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle, body building and taking videos or pictures by the thousands, almost every one of which he ever took had someone that he loved in it.

Terry will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his mother-in-law Rose; his siblings Edward, Faye, Chalen (Eric), Sandra, Alan, and Robert (Dana); brothers and sisters-in-law Trudy (Frank), Gregory, Beth, Joel (Patricia), Allan, Nancy, Blair (Florence), and Rodney, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Terry was predeceased by his parents Freda and Grover, and brother Randy. Terry's celebration of life will be held on July 19, 2017, 2:00 pm at Acadia McKague's Funeral Centre 915 Acadia Dr, Saskatoon. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
