It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Vern at the age of 82 years. Vern worked in various mining operations over his lifetime, but always called Hazel Dell his home. He was always very happy and generous to all he met and loyal to his dog Patches. In Vern’s younger years he enjoyed fishing, camping and being outdoors. Vern was predeceased by his parents Peter & Mary; brothers Billy & Walter as well as nephew Keith. Vern’s memory will live on through his brother Stan (Irene); nephews Darcy, Kelvin (Brad), Bryan (Joy) & niece Karen (Terry) as well as numerous great nieces, nephews & friends. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (210 Wess Road, Saskatoon). Donations in memory of Vern may be made to the Saskatoon SPCA. Arrangements entrusted to Travis Minor.
