Wesley Kenneth Torgunrud passed away on December 18, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on May 14, 1954, Wesley had a passion for video games, delving into the worlds of Lord of the Rings and sci-fi books, and enjoying a round of golf. He was predeceased by his parents, Norman and Doramae Torgunrud. Wesley's green thumb led him to a career at Dutch Growers. Later, he shared his knowledge by teaching computer lessons and working at Maple Leaf for several years before retiring. His children fondly remember the tradition of spending birthday money and enjoying special birthday breakfasts together. His children will always remember the love of weather he instilled in them.
Wesley is survived by his children, Justin (Caylinn), Erin (Emerson), and Aislinn (Kyle); his grandchildren, Jossilyn and Regulus; his wife, Wanda, with whom he shared 39 years; and his sisters, Gwen and Laurie (Randy).
Wesley will be missed by those who knew him. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in Wesley's name.
A service will be held at a later date.
