Bill passed away quietly at RUH on Wednesday, September 14 at the age of 75. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Bernice, of 50 years; daughters, Laurie (Antony) Nemetchek and Jenny Seager; grandchildren, Bradley (Claire), Tyler, Danielle and Rachel Nemetchek, Elysia and Nicholas Seager; sisters, Tina (Harry) Barrett and Nettie Pozniak; in-laws, Dick (Leona) Hollier, Bea New, and Rosalie and Yvonne Guenther. He was predeceased by his parents Isaac and Katherina Guenther and brothers Hank, Ike, Ben and Carl. Bill was born in Osler, SK and lived there until the family moved to Saskatoon in the mid 1950s. He was a truck driver, sandblaster, crane operator, and an all-around good handyman. In 2010, he retired from Richardson Pioneer after 14 years of service. Last year he was diagnosed with prostate cancer which spread quickly causing his health to deteriorate. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 1 at 2 p.m. at Erindale Alliance Church (Regier Chapel) 310 Perehudoff Crescent, Saskatoon. Pastor Bruce Pringle officiating.
