

ROBERTSON, Alexander Potter “Sandy” – Passed away peacefully, with his family at his side, at Maple View Nursing Home on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 in his 91st year. Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Anne (Plewman). Sandy is survived by his devoted children, Jan Duggan (David) and Doug Robertson (Laura). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Colleen Mogg (Jon), Kelly Duggan, Melanie Tsikos (George) and Christa Hinds (Dean) and great grandchildren Alexander and Nikolai Mogg and Stoli and Donny Tsikos. Sandy was born in Bo’ness, Scotland to the late James and Janet Robertson and was the loving brother of the late Annie Hay (late Tec) and the late Nan Taylor (Pete). He will be fondly missed by his sisters-in-law Kay Dool (late Clayton) and Barbara Smith (Max) and his many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. He was a navigator in the RAF during the 2nd World War and was very proud of his service in India, Burma and China. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 12 noon to 1:45 pm. Memorial Service to be held in the chapel at 2 pm. Rev.’s John Wilson and Charlene Wilson officiating. Memorial contributions to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
