FITZGERALD, Anita – Dear friends and family, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anita Fitzgerald. She passed away quietly on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 81 years. Wife of the late Lester Smith and Gerry Fitzgerald. Mother of Lorry Smith (Debra), Raymond Smith (Linda) and their families, late Billy Smith (Tammy Johnson) and family, and Robert Smith (Vivian) and family. Also grandmother and great grandmother to the loved ones below her. May the tears dry as fast as the love is deep in her memory. At Anita’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Her ashes will be spread at a special fishing location at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in her name would be appreciated.
