HANSEN, Anne (Currie) – Peacefully at home July 25, 2010 in her 64th year. Beloved wife of 43 years and best friend of John. Dearest mother of Jeannette (Michael) Wiens, London, ON and of Sarah (Ron) Fontenot, of Daniel Island, SC. Cherished Granny of John, Ted and Grace Wiens, Moira and Peyton Fontenot. Dear sister of Jean (late Richard) Scott, Jim (Barb) Currie and Betty (Bill) Goodall and sister-in-law of Raoul (Claudette) Thibodeau. Dear daughter-in-law of Betty Hansen of Cumming, GA. Sister-in-law of Cathy (Becky Murphy) Hope, Mary (Dick) Desrosiers, Pat (Curtis) Larson and Michael (Wendy) Hansen. Predeceased by her parents George and Sarah Currie, sisters Isabella Thibodeau and Sally (late Eugene) Tallon, father-in-law John Hansen Sr. and grandson Jeffrey Fontenot. Anne will be lovingly remembered by her extended family and friends throughout Canada, the United States and Scotland. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 6 – 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 11 am at Precious Blood Cathedral. Rev. Hamish Currie officiating. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
