It is with deep love and sadness that the family of Anne Magill announces her peaceful passing at the age of 72, surrounded by her beloved husband and children at Algoma Residential Community Hospice.
Anne will be forever missed by her husband and best friend, Barry, and their children: Kelly Magill (Matthew Swiderski), Lindsay Magill (Darren Walker), Kevin Magill (Julie), and Melanie Magill (Kevin Coulter). She was the cherished Grannie Annie to Theo and Wini Swiderski; Finn and Sidney Walker; Cameron Magill; and Kai, Beau, and Leif Coulter, who brought her endless joy. Anne was the much-loved sister of Mary Trebb (Ron), Paula Worton (late Tim), late Bill Miller (Brenda), Kathy Nyman (Bryan), and Roberta Paquette (Claude). Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Beatrice Miller. She was a fun loving sister-in-law to Vaughn Magill (Barb), late Wayne Magill (Laurie), Aldene Magill (late Ray), Keith Magill (Kathie) and Glenn Magill (Joann). Daughter-in-law of the late Albert and late Lillian Magill. She will be missed and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Anne and Barry built a beautiful life together on the shores of Pancake Bay, where they lived a slow-paced life in harmony with nature. Her infectious energy and ability to face challenges with grace, humour and courage will always be remembered. Anne’s sharp wit and clever mind were always evident in every word game, puzzle and project she pursued. She nurtured her creativity through wood-working, quilting projects, home renovations and outdoor adventures. Anne was an avid volunteer, a lifelong learner, and a dedicated educator who positively impacted countless lives. Her greatest pride and happiness came from spending time with her family. She truly lived each moment with a present mind and warm heart.
