With profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Cathy (MacDonald) Hodgkinson, at Health Sciences North, after a tragic accident.
Loving mother to her son Jesse, and proud adoring grandmother of Emma. Dearly remembered by her brother John A. MacDonald, step-brother Dean Buker, step-sister Karen Buker, as well as many extended family members and countless friends.
Predeceased by her parents Doreen Oldroyd (John) and Frank MacDonald (Betty), and her longtime companion and cat Molly.
Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are welcome to gather for a visitation at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East; 705-759-2522) on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm. Private burial at Greenwood Cemetery following. Memorial contributions (payable online or by cheque) to the MS society, the Humane Society, or charity of choice.
