It is with great sadness that the family of Clarence Darwin Hicks, better known as Darwin, has passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024.
Darwin was the Beloved husband of 55 years to Heather, father of Kenneth (Pamela) and Cathy. Grandpa of Emily (Kurtis) and Tyler (Emma). Great Grandpa of Maeve. Dear family friend of Sheri and brother-in-law of Gilbert Gordon. Darwin was predeceased by his parents Clarence and Gwendolyn Hicks, in-laws Gladys and Jack Gordon, many family members and friends, as well as being the last living Grandson to Ella and George Walker.
Throughout his life Darwin was a clever and kind-hearted man that claimed himself an Angel. He was an avid hunter and fisherman at camp on Bright Lake and could often be seen telling stories of those days. Darwin was a great man who will be missed by many, but he lives on to tell his stories through his family. We love you, always and forever, amen. A big thank you to the kind and wonderful staff at the Sault Area Hospital ICU and Extendicare Maple View who lovingly took care of a wonderful man.
