RAJNOVICH, Doris Elaine ~ It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Elaine on Monday, September 24, 2018 at the age of 93 years. Pre-deceased by her husband John and cherished friend Bill McCaig, siblings Ross, Howard (Jo), Dawn Goike (late Joe), Jack (Mary) and Robert ‘Pop’; and grandson Paul Thibault. Elaine was the proud mother of Tom (Diana) of Kincardine, June (Bruce) of Renfrew and Dan (Judie) of Sault Ste Marie. Grandmother to Beth, Anne, Kate, Kristen and John; and great grandmother of Desmond. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides her love of the Greyhounds and Marty Robbins, Elaine loved to be active and socialize. In earlier years, she was an avid golfer and curler, a volunteer driver with the Cancer Society and an active part of Beta Sigma Phi. At Elaine’s request cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of her life will occur at a later date. The family would like to give a special thank-you to the staff of Driftwood Beach 3 at the F.J. Davey Home for the special care and support given over the past few years. If you so wish a memorial contribution can be made in Elaine’s name to the F.J.
