KNIAHNICKI, Edward Robert “Eddy” – January 8, 1952 – July 19, 2013 – It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Robert Kniahnicki at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 61. Lovingly remembered by Susan. Best friend and loving father of Julie and Jeffrey (Tammy). Loving and caring Ammpa to Keegan, Draidyn and Jordan. Brother and best friend to Richard (Angel), Donald (Lilian) and the late Tommy. Cherished son-in-law to Shirley Hackett. Brother-in-law to Michael Hackett (Angela) and Patrick Hackett. Caring uncle of Mark, Carissa, Ryan, Sarah, John and Cameron. Loving nephew of Chacha Irene. Predeceased by his parents Wanda and Stanley Kniahnicki. Ed will be sadly missed by many and loved by all. Special thank you to the nurses and staff on the ICU floor at the SAH for their care and compassion. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, July 22, 2013 from 6 – 9 pm. Funeral service to be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 1 pm.
