Cherished Nonno of Michael (Alyssa), Anthony (Marissa), Nikki (Chris), Enrico (Melissa), Madeline (Zach),Matteo and Carson. Proud Bisnonno of Matteo, Luca, Lorenzo, Ricardo and Liliana. Predeceased by his parents Grazia and Fioramante Ianni-Palarchio. Dear brother of Luigina (late Egidio) Mannarino, late Carmelina (late Joe Provenzano), late Michele (Nanda), Giovanni (late Tina), late Fernando (Franca) and Mario (Nadia). Son in-Law of late Antonio and late Mafalda Buffone. Brother in-Law of Joe Buffone (Cecile), late Eugenio Buffone (Rosina Lamantea). Special Zio to many nieces and nephews. Friends to many. Enrico will be remembered by many friends and acquaintances.
Enrico has had a colourful, challenging, and triumphant life in Campora San Giovanni, Cosenza, Italy and Northern Ontario. His stories are flavoured with Italian proverbs, and his own sayings.
Whether you are in the food industry or not, his life was a recipe for laughing, learning to be an entrepreneur, and for living a good life, while keeping his Family together. Mix two countries, one war, ten parts hard work, a couple of mentors, a pinch of luck, a dash of ingenuity, a pound of persistence, and a man who wouldn’t quit and you get a delicious story spanning seven decades of entrepreneurial endeavors.
