Erik Atkinson

ATKINSON, Erik Edward Joseph – Surrounded by his loving family on June 15, 2011 at the age of 33. Most precious and loved son of Roger and Jacqueline Atkinson. Cherished by his sisters Patti Atkinson (Nathan Nie), Ronda Brown (Jeff), Keri Rizzo (Paul). Special uncle of Jessica Jancke (Joe Robertson), Jacob Jancke, Nic and Mitch Brown. Special ‘great uncle’ of Joey Erik Jancke. Special brother-in-law of Peter Jancke. Much loved grandson of Mildred Atkinson (late Bud) and Margaret Charron (late Edward). Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass for Erik will be held at Precious Blood Cathedral on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 2 pm. Rev. Hamish Currie officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Thank you to all who assisted: Doctors, Nurses and staff in ICU at the Sault Area Hospital for the compassion and care given to us and Erik. A very special thank you to a great friend, Michele Sicoly for all the long hours and help caring for us all.
