DAVEY, Frederick Lyall - Peacefully at the F. J. Davey Home on Thursday March 22, 2018 at the age of 84 with his wife at his side. Beloved husband of Birdie for 63 years. Loving father of Kim Laity (Jeff), Gayle Debolt (Len), Joanne Goodwin (John) and Sharon Davey. Proud grandfather of Tim Debolt (Lisa), David Laity (Abby), Jenn Bruni (Joe), Mathew Goodwin, Thomas Goodwin (Jacqueline), Kathryn Goodwin, Kyle Gauthier and Alex Gauthier. Cherished great grandfather of Emma and Hanna Laity, Lyric and Harper Bruni, Jack and Brody Goodwin. Dear brother of Ivan (late Betty), Reg (Gayanne), and predeceased by Grace Beaudette (Albert), Albert (Phyllis), Arthur (Kay), Earl (Lucille), Gordon (Flora), Joyce Frechette (George) and Orval. Brother-in-law of Lynn Bovingdon (late Arlene), Ted Bovingdon (Zona), Dennis Bovingdon and Cindy Bernard (Stan). Fred will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Funeral service to be held at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Monday March 26, 2018 at 11am. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Free Methodist Building Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Special thank you to Dr. Cziffer and Dr. Shafiee for their many years of care and guidance, to Dr. Kargbo and Dr. Dawson while in hospital. Birdie and daughters are so grateful to the staff at the FJ Davey Home who treated Fred as a friend and family member.
