Loving wife of 59 years and now reunited with the late David Daynard.

Loving mother of Pamela, Peggy (Domenic) Coccimiglio, Dwayne (Jean), Tim (Louise), Shelley (Dan) Marshall, and her very special niece Janice (Brent) Ansley (and family), who shares the same birthday as our mom.

Proud, adored and treasured Gramma of Mandy (TJ) Masse, Barry (Pamela) Coccimiglio, Christopher Coccimiglio, Larissa (Jamie) Searle, David (Brittany), Zachary (Danielle), Matt (Brandy) and Adam (Chantal) Daynard. Proud Great Gramma of Lily, Cole, Josh Masse, Nico, Taio, Levi Coccimiglio, Justin and Mia Coccimiglio, Alyssa, Finley, Paige and Brody Daynard, Allie and Theo Searle, Olivia, Ava, Isaac, Oakley, Kaede Daynard and Hailey.

Daughter of the late Beatrice and Stan Childs. Reunited with her siblings Joan (Maurice) Daynard, Joyce Lukala (late Arnie), Henry (Gloria) Childs, Bob (late Elsie) Childs and Jack (late Betty) Childs. Daughter-in-law of the late Leitta and Melvin Daynard. Sister-in-law of Les (Pat) and predeceased by Elsie (Bob) Childs, Chris Triplett, Roy (Shirley) and Gary.

Our family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Schamp who took excellent care of our mother through the years. Our mom was sincerely grateful to have her.

A very special thank you to Dr. Bodnar, Dr. Mercier, Dr. Woolridge and to everyone who cared for our mother while in your care. We are forever grateful for the compassion and kindness given to our family when we needed it the most.

As per Irene’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) made to A.R.C.H., Sault Area Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
