CHERRY, James William – With a valiant struggle, after the loss of his beloved wife Betty in 2009, at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at the age of 85. Dearest father of Jim, Stephen (Patricia) and step-father of Lynne Swiss and Jim Roney (Gillian). Grandfather of Brian Cherry (Lisa), Nicole Carriere (Craig), Ted Swiss (Alana), Meghan and Ian Roney. Great grandfather of 7. Uncle of cherished niece Lorna Cliffe (Charles). Special companion of Pepper Roney. Son of the late Anna and Lorne Cherry. Brother of the late Irtel Montgomery (late Don), late Dolly Dundas (late Austin), late Iva Booth (late Don) and Margaret Baker (late Tom). Brother-in-law of Lenora Hall (late Art), Mercedes DiPasquale (late Ray), Joseph Lauzon (Lena), late Dorothy Miller (late Jack) and the late Phil Lauzon (Margaret). At Jim’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Private Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the A.R.C.H. or the Sault Area Hospital would be appreciated. Thank you to Dr. Wm. Grosso, Dr. S.
