CLARK, James “Jim” – Peacefully on Friday, September 27, 2013 surrounded by family and friends. Jim climbed the stairs to heaven with his best friend Diesel by his side. An inspiration to his family, Jim will be greatly missed by his wife Margaret (Nelson), son Craig, daughter Courtney (Robbie Robinson-Perrault), grandchildren, his little buddy Cameron and the apple of his eye, Jocelyn. Also missed by furry friends Allie, Casey and Gizmo. Predeceased by parents Bernice & Victor. Brother of Tom and Bill Clark. Brother-in-law of Harriet Wallenius (Steve) and Patricia Robineau (Daniel). Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Jim enjoyed sports both as a participant and watching his daughter Courtney. His sense of humour and quick wit will be missed by all who knew him. Jim’s zest for life was contagious. Physical limitations did not slow him down. He will miss his Thursday night Trivia partners at the DonDee, Sunday breakfast buddies at the Jack Pine and the Clear Lake Campground gang. A very special thank you to Jim’s Angel in scrubs, Dr. Sam Fratesi; the 3(B) Palliative Care Unit at Sault Area Hospital, Emergency Unit and Karen from Community Care Access Centre. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the War Amps or ARCH would be appreciated. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 1 – 2:30 pm. A celebration of Jim’s life will follow in the chapel at 3:00 pm. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Cremation with interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.arthurfuneralhome.com.
