Devoted father of David Major (Hilda), Ann-Marie Roberts (John), the late Cindy Rancourt (late Al), John Major (Rose), Cathy James (Roy), Michael Major, Stacey Newman (Joe), and Shawna Major. Proud papa and grandpa to Michael Major (Shannon), Christine (Christian), Jo-Marie Collier (Jeff), John Roberts (Trudy), Derek Roberts, Kelly Moskal (Harry), Phyllis Pulente, Kevin Major (Ashley), Marty Major (Julie), Amanda Major (Mike), Jonathan Major, Jamie Major, Michael Major (Tammy), Nathan James ( Bailey), Marc Major, Daniel Newman, the late Collin Newman, Sean Newman, and Samantha Newman. Adoring great-grandpa of 27 and caring great-great-grandpa of 3.5. Admiring uncle to many. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Nellie Major. Predeceased by siblings Francis Corbett (late Lorne), Rhoda Bazzo, Alex Major (late Ellen), and Frank Major. John will be missed and fondly remembered by many family and friends.
