She was a woman of quiet strength and deep selflessness and grace. Myrne was the beloved wife of the late George, and a loving mother to Don (Donna) and the late Keith (Bernie). She was a proud grandmother to Shannen (Chris) and Hayley (Zach) and a cherished great-grandmother to Mason and Zaden.
Myrne held a special place in her heart for the family cottage and the many good memories at McCarrel Lake and found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She appreciated the small moments that truly mattered.
At her Myrne’s request, there will be no service but will be interred at Maple Leaf cemetery in the spring. The family would like to thank to the Palliative Care team at Maple View Nursing Home for their compassion and competence during Myrne’s final days.
Memorial contributions (payable online or by cheque) to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
