Marilyn Joan Schmidt

Loving wife of the late Jozsef Schmidt. Born to Rowden and Cora Varcoe. Cherished mom of Joseph (Gayle), Ronald (Michele) and Steven (Theresa). Proud grandma of David (Ally), Cody (Alyssa), Melanie, Jocelyn and Keaton (Kayla). Proud great-grandmother of Sebastian. Predeceased by her siblings Hazel (late Jules), James (late June), Forrest (Anne) and Donald (late Dorothy). A special thank you to her best friend Anne Varcoe. Marilyn will be missed by many family and friends.

Marilyn was very active in her community and the local Anglican Churches.

Family and friends are invited to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton and Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E, 705-759-2522) on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 10 am - 1 pm for a time of visitation. Service to be held at St. Luke's Cathedral at 1:30 pm, Very. Rev. Dr. Jay Koyle officiating. Interment to take place at Greenwood Cemetery following.
