IGERCICH, Mary - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a dear mother Mary Igercich on Thursday, July 3, 2025, in her 95th year. Peacefully at F.J. Davey Home, we held hands and said our goodbyes. We have been truly blessed to have her in our lives for so long.
Survived by her daughter Jamie and husband Doug Myers. Mary is now reunited with her husband Steve and son Stephan. Predeceased by her parents John and Delsi Bronzovich. She will be fondly remembered by her siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She always had a special place in our lives for her family and friends. A wonderful lady with a kind soul will be dearly missed. A hug, hello, holding her hand and sometimes a song would make her happy and smile.
We would like to extend our gratitude to all the staff at F.J. Davey Home, especially to Cedar- 2 for their constant care and compassion. She could not remember your names because of dementia but she sure remembered how special you all made her feel. Thanks to Sandi from activities, she has the kindest heart we have ever met. She has been both a friend and a comfort to myself, Doug and mom. You will always be fondly remembered. Thanks to her friend Bryan who welcomed her into the home and helped her adjust. They remained special friends until the end. To all the F.J. Davey Home families we’ve met over the years, thank you for your kindness. You were always ready to lend an ear; for you truly knew what it meant to be a caregiver.
A private graveside will be held, and she will be laid to rest with her husband and son in Port Colborne. There she will find eternal peace. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East 705-759-2522).
