Loving, devoted father of Steven Fitzpatrick, Michelle Gray (Rick), and Renee Rouleau (Mike). Special father-in-law of Melissa Lariviere. Proud “Grampa” of Megan (Chris) and Shane Gray, Gabrielle (Micky) and Joshua Rouleau, David, Michael, and Patricia Fitzpatrick, who were his greatest joys in life. Special friend of Joanne Watt and fondly remembered by Louise Fitzpatrick. Predeceased by his parents Harry and Pauline (Dubé) Fitzpatrick. Dear brother of the late Joyce Onraet (John) and late Pat Wing. Uncle to many cherished nieces and nephews, especially his favourite niece, Suzanne (Murray) McDonald. Close friend of Carmen Perna.

Mike was so passionate about family dinners where he shared his love of good food and wine with his loved ones. We will miss the 5 o’clock phone calls, his quick wit, and all of the generous care packages (especially his famous macaroni salad, bags of croutons and a big jar of raspberry jam) that he always looked forward to giving his grandchildren. Mike always ensured we had the best steaks – or as he would refer to them – “the nice ones”. Mike’s only wish was to attend his granddaughter Megan’s wedding next month, but there is not a doubt in our minds that he will be celebrating with us on her special day. He will be forever remembered by all who knew him. As per Mike’s request, a private service will be held. In his honour, memorial donations (payable by cheque) can be made to the Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie or ARCH Hospice. A special thank you to the EMS team, Dr. Boseovski, and the nurses at Sault Area Hospital.
