Husband of Elizabeth Mahler (Nee Pinder). Father of the late Jamie (Christine), Catherine Willet, late Aaron, Renas, and Janet. Father-in-law of Melanie (Silvano). Papa of Christian, Rhys, Heidi, and Nora Jane. Great Papa of Hudson and Archer. Predeceased by his parents Ute and Wolfgang Mahler. Brother of Idis Avery (John). Uncle of Ian Rosso (Cynthia). Great uncle of Victor, Alexandria, and Cecilia.

Predeceased by Elizabeth’s parents Edison and Geraldine Pinder. Nephew of the late Willena Rosley (late Gordon). Brother-in-law of the late Mavis Goodman (late Hugh) of British Columbia, and late Jack Pinder (late Kay) of New Brunswick. Uncle of Enid, Nancy, Eric, Eddie, Tracy, Peter, Joanne, the late Arthur, and their families.

God took the strength of a mountain,

The majesty of a tree,

The warmth of a summer sun,

The calm of a quiet sea,

The generous soul of nature,

The comforting arm of night,

The wisdom of the ages,

The power of the eagle's flight,

The joy of a morning in spring,

The faith of a mustard seed,

The patience of eternity,

The depth of a family need,

Then God combined these qualities,

When there was nothing more to add,

He knew His masterpiece was complete,

And so, He called it... Dad
