Patricia Georgey Hunter

Dear mother of Janet Daniel (Craig) and Craig Hunter (Michelle). Cherished and adored nana of Alexandra and Justin Daniel. Dear daughter of the late Ellwood and Olive. Dear sister of the late Barbara Gajda (Mitch), the late James Grasley, Phyllis Tresidder (late Warren) and Mary Ruth Miller (Paul). Dear sister-in-law of the late Al Hunter (late Kay), the late Jack Hunter (Iris), Ed Hunter (Joyce), Betty Lou Rogers (late Mansfield), the late Marilyn Trites (late Gurney) and the late Dean Hunter (Carol). Patricia will be fondly remembered by her many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Patricia loved being a nurse. She worked in many departments at the General Hospital before finding her niche as a home care nurse. She believed healing at home was the best medicine.

Patricia was a fabulous baker. So many goodies, biscuits, buns, cinnamon rolls, coffee cakes, and many many pies. Her real passion was Scrabble. She would hustle anyone who was willing to lose. She loved her family and cherished her friendships.

At Patricia’s request, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial contributions made payable online or by cheque to ARCH would be greatly appreciated.
