BRESNAHAN, Marie Renée Brenda - On Friday, June, 1, 2018, Renée Bresnahan, wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at the age of 48 years. Renée will be forever remembered by her husband and best friend James for 28 years and their cherished children Tyler (Hailey) and Joshua. Renée was born April 20th, 1970 to her parents Kenneth and Linda Barkley in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Renée was predeceased by her beloved grandparents Alphee and Emelda Martin, William Barkley and Marvel St. John Renée is also lovingly remembered by her mother-in-law Nancy Bresnahan and father-in-law Douglas Bresnahan. She will sadly be missed by her brother Kenneth (Andréa) and forever remembered by her niece Kaitlyn. Special sister-in-law to Cathy (Doug), Sandra (Darryl). Aunt to Lindsay, Ryan, Brianna, Randy. Precious niece to Brenda (Abe) Hoskins. Renée will be fondly remembered by her extended family and dear friends. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East 705-759-2522) on Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 12:00 to 2:30 pm. Memorial Contributions greatly appreciated to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Clinic. Renée made it obvious how proud she was of her 2 boys and thankfully she got to be there for their graduations. It brought her great happiness to attend all of their sporting events, especially hockey, she was a TRUE hockey mom. Renée was the happiest when surrounded by all of her family at BBQ's, campfires or just hanging out.
