Sitting here in an empty home.
I call your name, you don't answer and I realize I'm all alone.
Movies playing in my mind.
Remembering when, there was the time in Niagara Falls,
we drove under the rainbow of silver dollar sized snow
or parking on the boulevard to catch the fireworks show.
Remembering when, watching you smile,
while catching the soulful sound of Ned singing on my cousins Viny's patio.
And throwing bread crumbs to the finches and sparrows.
Remembering when, you were going to school in Hamilton downtown. Apparently your bag was to heavy so you put it down.
Unknowingly somehow a kitten had jumped in, you said with a grin.
So not knowing from where it came, we brought him home and gave him a name.
You were too young for God to turn out your light. I will always hold your memories tight.
Remembering your smiling face, you were so sweet and kind.
Remembering when, and watching movies playing in my mind.

The Lord's Coming
13 Our friends, we want you to know the truth about those who have died, so that you will not be sad, as are those who have no hope.
14 We believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will take back with Jesus those who have died believing in him.
15 What we are teaching you now is the Lord's teaching: we who are alive on the day the Lord comes will not go ahead of those who have died.
16There will be the shout of command, the archangel's voice, the sound of God's trumpet, and the Lord himself will come down from heaven. Those who have died believing in Christ will rise to life first;
17 then we who are living at that time will be gathered up along with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord.
18 So then, encourage one another with these words.

Faithfulness to God
1 My child, if you are going to serve the Lord, be prepared for times when you will be put to the test.
2 Be sincere and determined. Keep calm when trouble comes.
3 Stay with the Lord; never abandon him, and you will be prosperous at the end of your days.
4 Accept whatever happens to you. Even if you suffer humiliation, be patient.
5 Gold is tested by fire, and human character is tested in the furnace of humiliation.
6 Trust the Lord, and he will help you. Walk straight in His ways, and put your hope in him.
7 All you that fear the Lord, wait for him to show you His mercy. Do not turn away from him, or you will fall.
8 All you that fear the Lord, trust him, and you will certainly be rewarded.
9 All you that fear the Lord, look forward to His blessings of mercy and eternal happiness.
