Sherry Lynn Briel

BRIEL, Sherry Lynn (March 31, 1949 – April 15, 2018) - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sherry Lynn Briel on Sunday, April 15th at the age of 69. Beloved wife of the late Robert Briel. Dear mother of Kimberly & Hugh Cleghorn and Corrine & Darcy Bertolo. Cherished Grandma of Joshua, Tyler & Drew Cleghorn and Alexandra & Kayden Bertolo. Daughter of the late Lloyd and Hazel Burns. Sister of Chuck (Glenna) Burns and Sister-in-Law of Barb (Jim) Currie and Heather Burns. Proud Aunt of Michelle Ngoie & Michael Currie, Kevin & Jeff Burns and Thomas & David Burns, as well as, each of their families. Sherry will be fondly remembered by her work family at the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library and by the Coffee Girls. A Celebration of Life will be held at Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E 705-759-2522) on Saturday, April 21st, 2018 from 1– 4 pm. A private family interment with her ashes will take place in the summer of 2018. Memorial contributions to the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library would be appreciated by the family.
