Sister-in-law to Dianne (late Mark) Juby and Danny (Corrine) McGinnis. She leaves behind her loving aunts and uncles and her nieces and nephews. Theresa’s memory will always be cherished by the daughter she never had, Jessica Dickens.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Theresa’s lifelong best friend, Wendy Roy. Thank you for the countless laughs, memories and good times.
To George, Allison and Wendy, thank you for your endless support and care for Theresa when our family needed it the most. You are deeply appreciated.
Theresa will be missed dearly by her many friends. Our family takes comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her good friend Brenda (Andy) Lang.
Thank you to Nurse Amy for your dedication, care and compassion for Theresa. Special thanks to all of the healthcare professionals who have supported and guided our family along the way.
After over 30 years working as a PSW for Algoma Manor, Theresa retired but still kept herself busy by working on the lake alongside her dear friend Gwen. When she wasn’t busying herself with work, she enjoyed spending time with those she loved most, her family and friends. In her free time, she enjoyed the peace of tending to her flower garden. When she had her fill of the peace and quiet, she loved the hustle and bustle of shopping at the mall.
As per Theresa’s request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be announced by family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation - Cancer Care Fund or Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East, 705-759-2522). Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.arthurfuneralhome.com for the McGinnis family.
